I am a 12 year old Boston/Pug MIX and weigh 20 pounds. I need a new home because my owner is in an assistant living. I am being fostered in Omaha, NE. I love my humans. I have always been an only child but I live with dogs now.. I don't mind the companionship but I am not a playmate. I am well mannered and independent. I do not require much. I am in great health for a 12 year old. Good vision and hearing. No medication. I enjoy walks and car rides I like to sleep in bed with my humans I know how to use a doggie door but it is not required I do make a good watch dog as I will bark to noise. All our dogs are spayed/neutered (if six months and older), up to date on rabies and distemper, heartworm tested, and microchipped. Other medical needs diagnosed while in foster care are also treated prior to adoption. MABTR requires a fenced in area from families who own their home, however we DO adopt to apartment complexes and communities where fences are not permitted due to leases and covenants. In these cases a leash law must be enforced. We do not accept invisible fencing. MABTR only adopts to families residing in NE, CO, MO, KS, IA, WY, SD, ND, ID, UT, MT, MN, and NW AR due to the lack of volunteer support in other states, no exception even if you are willing to drive.
