Here is what my foster family has to say about me:
"Cocoa has spent the last week with us and has made impressive strides in his training. He is now crate-trained, spending the entire night quietly in his kennel without any accidents. He has quickly picked up good house manners, like asking to go outside for bathroom breaks and learning to wait at the door until called. Cocoa is working on important basic commands like sit, stay, lay down, and fetch, and he's learning to relax indoors, even coexisting quietly with his foster sister (our older shepherd-mix). He's great about jumping in the car, is always ready to go for a ride. He did a great job hiking Panther Canyon and is an amazing partner to run with in the evenings. We think Cocoa is sweet, smart, and super adaptable. He loves to play with the toys we got him, cuddle, and follows his foster sister everywhere."
I am currently in a foster home and not at HSNBA, if you are interested in meeting me, please contact the nice folks at HSNBA so they can put you in contact with my foster family to set up a meet & greet. E-mail HSNBA at

Say hello to Cocoa, a 6-month-old labrador retriever with a heart full of sweetness. Cocoa's gentle nature and good looks would make him a perfect addition to any loving home.
Cocoa is well-behaved and easy to walk, perfect for relaxed strolls around the neighborhood or quiet afternoons in the park. He loves people and quickly warms up to anyone he meets. Cocoa enjoys being petted and staying close to his human friends.
On walks, Cocoa stays calm and doesn't react negatively to other dogs or wildlife. He's curious but friendly, even with other animals like cats. Cocoa will need some basic training, as he doesn't know any commands yet, but he's a loving pup who's eager to please.
Cocoa is in good health and has been neutered. If you're looking for a sweet, low-energy companion to bring warmth and affection into your home, Cocoa is the perfect match. Come meet Cocoa today and let this lovable lab become a cherished member of your family!HSNBA lists all animals online from the moment of intake, and our listings are updated automatically every midnight.
