If you're looking for a buddy to lounge on the couch with while you catch up on your favorite show or book, Cocoa is your gal! Cocoa is about 2-3 years old and is the mama to our "Chocolate" litter. She was found abandoned in Cleveland, TX - a common location where we find stray and abandoned animals - with her litter of puppies that were only 2 weeks old! Not only did Cocoa have to fend for herself, but she had all of her babies to worry about. Now that Cocoa has a taste of the lavish life, she is looking to continue to be spoiled by her people. She is house/crate trained, knows some basic commands, and is good with everyone and everything she meets. This girl is shy when she first gets to know you, but give her time to feel safe and she becomes sweet as pie. Cocoa is currently fostered in Kansas City, MO. Cocoa is HW positive, which unfortunately is common in Texas dogs that have not received preventative medicine. The good news is we have started her on part one of treatment and she will finish with fast kill injections. She is now available for pre-adoption while completing treatment.
