PLEASE READ ENTIRE POST AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION - COLE Hi there, my name is Cole, and I'm an affectionate and playful young pup with a lot of love to give! Even though I'm still just a youngster, I already have so much love and energy packed into my little body. I am friendly, and I am sure that I will provide you with a lifetime of happiness. I'm definitely the boss when it comes to other dogs and I definitely like to eat alone, but I love people and I can't wait to find a family of my own to shower with love and wet kisses. My previous owner died and I was without her in the house and scared. I am ready for a new family to give me a second opportunity. If you choose to welcome me into your home, I promise to be the best pup-son you could ever ask for! I am already neutered, microchipped and I have had my first vaccines. The vets say I am in very good health! I need a home with a fenced yard and without larger animals to keep me safe, and I don't think being with little children would be my favorite thing. Our adoption process starts with your email to [email protected] or Petfinder inquiry. After we receive it, we will email you our prescreening questionnaire. Your answers will help us determine that your home and lifestyle matches the needs of both Cole and our adoption criteria. Once determined, we will set up a private meeting with you and your family to meet Cole at a park near our private kennel just east of Richmond. After meeting him and determining that he matches your preferences for a pet, we will accept your application. A home visit by one of our trained volunteers is required for all adoptions, and we will speak with your vet to ensure that you are a responsible pet owner.
