Need someone to keep you warm for a nap or long slumber under the covers and won’t leave the bed until you do? I’m your guy! I actively seek out affection from my humans and fur friends, even the cat when he lets me. I did come to the rescue very scared and pretty skinny, but I’ve made tremendous strides in confidence and gained weight over the last three weeks! I LOVE FOOD!!! When I’m hungry I’ll literally bring you my bowl! I can find even a grain of rice that falls on the floor. When I have to go potty, I’ll sit and stare at the back door let you know. I didn’t know what toys were, but my foster sister showed me how fun they are. So I like to take ALL of the toys out of the bin, and place them on my dog bed or in one pile just to look at. It takes me quite a while to choose one. I love to chew on bones when I’m bored, and not on shoes. My female foster sister Maddie is the alpha, and I like it that way. I just want to follow along with the pack. I even have excellent leash manners, and prefer a regular collar over a harness. I do need some work with crate training, because it makes me really scared. So I do best being contained in a room where I can be safe, but I hope to be able to free roam soon. As I’m already showing signs I can be trusted to not be crated.
