Cookie Is Available For Adoption This beauty with the striking light blue eyes has been named Cookie by her foster family because she's so SWEET. She's approx 6 mos of age & she has a calm, friendly, submissive temperament. Cookie would love a home with lots of humans & canine playmates, but she would do well with any family. She absolutely adores people, including small children. She follows her foster mom around the house & takes puppy naps often. ? Cookie is housetrained & crate trained. Once in her crate, she settles quickly. She walks on a leash VERY WELL, especially for a pup. She would be a great walking/jogging partner, although she's not high energy. We are working on walking side by side. She doesn't pull much and responds to gentle correction & positive reinforcement. Cookie knows "sit" & "stay." Cookie loves hunting for insects & bunnies & she's happy to patrol the yard & keep them away. She has a high prey drive for bugs & critters, but she's wonderful & sweet with all dogs & kids. (She wasn't reactive at all to a small dog that tried attacking her. She just wanted to play.?) Her favorite toy is a squeaky crinkly squirrel. ?? She was homeless in a neighborhood & we're so thankful that she wasn't hit by a car. If you'd like to meet this sweet pup, please let us know!
