Cookie came to us from a crowded shelter. She was adopted out and her name was changed to Raya. She did fantastic in her foster home without any issues but in her new home she displayed some typical herding characteristics and protective behaviors so she was returned. Cookie Raya is your typical border collie and will do best in an active home without children where she can burn off her physical and mental energy. No apartments or condos are being considered for her at this time.
Cookie Raya is not good with cats and is selective with other dogs. She will get along with them for awhile but sometimes starts to scuffle without warning. She will do best in a home without other dogs.
She can be slow to warm up so a space to herself when guests are over would be ideal.
