Cooper thrives in a calm setting where he can be your shadow. He very much enjoys sleeping at my feet while I'm at work, or quietly chewing his toys. He loves to rest his head in my lap to get head pats and ear rubs. He is still learning how to play with toys but has discovered he loves squeakers! He's very gentle taking treats and toys from his human friends. Cooper does well around cats but can be a nervous around new dogs. He loves making new friends but needs slow introductions! Cooper tends to bark at new people from a distance but warms up when he gets a chance to meet them.
Cooper is house trained and crate trained. He has not had a single accident since he's been here. He tends to get bored when left unsupervised and will find a way to entertain himself so it's best to keep him crated while not supervised or in a doggy proof area. We are still learning to walk on a leash but he is doing very well! He checks in regularly to make sure you're seeing all the amazing things to smell.
