My Story

Cooper is a Treeing Coonhound that was taken out of the local impound facility. After 7 days, nobody claimed Cooper so he got to go home with Best Friends of Baker volunteers. Cooper is a purebred male that is not neutered at this time. Cooper is current on his vaccinations and has been wormed. Cooper appears to be about 3 or 4 years old. He is a very friendly and social guy and loves to be with people. Cooper is not high strung like most hounds and walks quite well on his leash. Cooper also settled right in the back seat of the car and went to sleep after leaving the facility. Cooper does have a lot of scars from wear and tear of his body either from hunting or injuries from riding in the back of a pickup. Cooper weighs 55 to 60 pounds and is very healthy. He will be neutered prior to his adoption. Cooper needs to have a secure fenced yard where he can get some exercise and be safe. If you would like to learn more about Cooper, please give Best Friends of Baker, a call at 541-519-7387.
