Cooper is 4-year-old male golden who is a loving, playful, loyal dog. Unfortunately, he has had a couple aggressive incidents; he bit a neighbor child last year and my mother-in-law last weekend. We live in a suburban neighborhood with a lot of young children around and I do not feel comfortable with the possibility that he may go after a child who mistakenly comes into our yard. We are hoping to rehome Cooper in a more appropriate setting – perhaps somewhere with more space – or with someone who can redirect and train him better than we have been able to with 4 children and 2 dogs. He is quick to learn. I am absolutely devastated to have to resort to rehoming Coopie - he has been a loved family member for 4 years, but I do not feel comfortable having him around so many small children in our neighborhood. He sleeps in his kennel every night. He is good with other dogs and he loves to run and play fetch.
