Copper

*************************************COURTSEY POST ******************************************* Copper is an affectionate and loyal 8.5-year-old mini-Aussie. He loves hiking and trail runs and is extremely playful, especially first thing in the morning! Copper gets along well with other dogs, especially small ones, and is very loving with his favorite humans. He is, however, a sensitive soul and needs to take things slow when meeting new people and has some stranger danger. But, as long as he is given some patience and space, Copper will go from nervous pup to loyal companion. We are looking for someone who has experience with dogs and can give him the exercise and brain stimulation he needs. He would also appreciate someone who works from home or has a flexible schedule -- gotta get in those mid-day walks! Since he hasn't' been around children, it would be best if there were no kiddos in the home. He also has an unfortunate history with cats antagonizing him, so he would very much appreciate not living with cats! Vet records and trainer contact information available on request.
