Copper

Copper is a wonderful and loving 50lb. Dobie mix who needs a new family. Copper's DOB is 4-16-23. He is great with children and he is great with other dogs of all sizes, in fact he is currently in a playdate situation with several other dogs, weighing between 10lbs and 70lbs.. He is about house trained, and he is crate trained. He sits, shakes and is working on stay. Copper wanted to play with cats but cats don't always want to play with him. Copper lived with very young children and he adored them, and he loved his adult family too, in fact Copper is great at giving hugs and showing affection. He is even gentle when the kids offer him treats. Copper's previous family wrote a heartfelt letter to send along with his new family. Copper was adopted but their senior cat would not adjust and for the welfare of their aging cat, Copper was returned to our shelter, but not without lots of tears and saddness.
