My Story

Meet Copper! Copper was previously a long term resident at BCDS. We were so happy for him when he was finally adopted out, but unfortunately, after a few months he has found himself back at the shelter at no fault of his own. Copper did not return to us in the best of shape and since coming back has been experiencing a lot of anxiety in the shelter environment. He has lived with other dogs and loves everyone he meets! Sadly, food wasn't always available to Copper and so he would need to be fed separately from other dogs in a home. He does love other dogs and would be able to live in a home with other pups. Copper is your typical hound and tends to think with his nose and can be a bit noisy at times. We know there are people out there who love that! We believe he would do well in just about any home! And just look at those big ears!! They’re just so adorable! If you’re interested in Copper please fill out an adoption questionnaire https://www.gobroomecounty.com/shelter/dog_shelter_adoption_questionnaire. We encourage you to reach out if you don’t hear back or if you have further questions Phone:607-778-2493 Email:[email protected]
