COPPER is a 4 month old, 10 pound male sheltie mix who was surrendered due to divorce and a move of location for his former family. It just about broke their hearts to give him up and we can sure see why. COPPER is a real lover who absolutely adores people, wanting to snuggle, give kisses and just be close. He also loves the companionship of other dogs. The nature of a sheltie is to be very shy and cautious. This is a trait which won't change much over the age of the dog. COPPER also likes to bark and herd small children as many shelties do..... he is not afraid to express his feelings. Because of this, a quiet home without small children would be better for him than a rambunctious household. His housetraining is close to being complete....just a little ways to go.
