Hi, I'm Corky! If I say so myself, I'm the sharpest, fastest and smartest one here at the Ark! (even though my sister Maple thinks she is, she's here at the Ark too). I can run like the wind, turn on a dime and if you throw a ball as far as you can, I'll get it and bring it right back to you before you can say 'slam-dunk!" I have lots of energy, and would love to use it to learn more! I already know how to sit and fetch, and I'm great at dropping the ball at your feet so you can throw it again. You'll never have to go find the ball with me as your partner! Way back when I arrived at the Ark, we played the 'guess what breed I am' game, and the most guesses were that I'm a Malinois Shepherd mix, but I know that's just a guess - I know what I am, I'm a Purebred Mix-Breed!! **Ark Rescue dogs are available for adoption to homes in the Alabama and Tennessee Valley area only. We do require a secure fenced-in yard to adopt our larger dogs.
