Cosmo Star

Hi, my name is Cosmo Star! I am approximately two years old and am an American Staffordshire terrier/husky mix. Believe it or not I am more husky than anything else…you got it! I have been DNA tested. I am on the smaller size weighing in at only 39 pounds I was living in the woods by the local high school and came onto the radar of the rescue after running on the field at the halftime show of the football game. What can I say? Friday Night Lights are my thing! The spectators in the stands loved it but the band director was not a fan. One of the high school seniors was able to coax me in her truck with a taquito and the rest is history. That high school girl saved me and I will be forever grateful. I am a super fun, friendly guy. I love every dog I meet and want to be everyone’s friend. I must say, it has been working for me so far. I am super athletic and with the proper training would make someone a great agility dog…if you happen to be into that. I bet I could even be taught how to be one of those frisbee dogs! Even though I am small, I have springboards for legs. My foster family also says I am one smart cookie! I am currently in a foster home and being spoiled tremendously. I am affectionate and adore my humans. I currently run with a “pack” of 16. I am good with large breed dogs, tiny chihuahuas and everything in between. I am told my current “pack” is pretty picky and doesn’t let just anyone in but I guess they made an exception for me. I am sure it was my magnetic personality. I am used to having an outdoor area to run around in so an apartment will not be the best fit for me. I am quite energetic and would love a fur buddy to live with. I love to give kisses and cuddle. I am house trained, crate trained and walk well on a leash. I am neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and healthy. Please email [email protected] for application instructions.
