Tehoka is a cute young Collie mix who is needs to find another home. He is just 10 months old, he weighs 29 pounds, and he has a soft black and tan coat. Tehoka is neutered and up to date on his vaccines. He is housebroken, crate-trained, and he knows a number of his basic obedience commands. Tehoka walks pretty well on leash and he rides nicely in the car when he is tethered – otherwise he wants to sit in your lap and help drive! Tehoka loves people! He is a low-to-medium Velcro guy who loves to be around his family but he does not get underfoot, and he is fine when his family has to leave him alone for part of the day. Tehoka gets along fine with other dogs outside the home, but inside he really wants to be your one and only! He is a medium energy dog with a nice off switch. Tehoka LOVES to race after a frisbee or ball – he loves the long throw! He also loves to go for walks and play tug, and when it is time to relax he is the best snuggler and couch hog! Tehoka seemed to be fine with the few cats that he has met. The ideal family for Tehoka is active, ready to play, and ready for adventure! It is also important that his new family continue his training – he still has more to learn! A fenced yard is nice but not required, and any children in the home should be at least 10 years old – toddlers make him nervous.
