Maverick is a playful and affectionate 1.5 year old German Shepherd Mix. He was originally found as a stray and no one claimed him, so his foster mom had him neutered and vetted in hopes of Maverick finding his new forever home. He absolutely adores adults and kids, and will follow his people around while walking in the yard. Maverick can be a little mouthy when he gets overly playful, but he is a quick learner and corrects easily. He is already excelling with his crate training, learning to sit, and learning not to jump up on new friends. Maverick has not yet been exposed to other dogs (he has been recovering from his neuter and is being worked with by his foster mom), however we believe he would do well with another energetic dog that shared his love of playtime. He loves to be outside in the fenced in yard of his foster home (permitting his people are enjoying the outdoors with him) and is always ready to play with a ball.
