My Story

Meet Cowboy, a 10-week-old male Cattle Dog mix with soft black fur, tan markings over his eyes, and a white chest. With ears that perk up when he's alert, Cowboy is likely to grow into a medium-sized dog. Cowboy loves to follow his foster mom and stay close. He enjoys playing with his brother and foster sister but tends to keep his distance from his foster brother. Cautious by nature, Cowboy is quick to alert you when something isn't right, boasting a strong bark for such a small frame. This little guy loves to be held and snuggled, but he also enjoys his playtime, particularly games of tug with his toys. Independent by nature, Cowboy is comfortable in his crate, understanding that meals are served there and walking straight in to eat. He's still working on his potty training but is making good progress. Cowboy knows that when the lights go out, it's time for bed. With his combination of independence, affection, and a love for play, Cowboy will make a wonderful companion for the right family.
