6-month-old Cowboy may be the most non-stop, pedal-to-the-metal, life is nothing but joy pup that has ever graced the Humane Society bark park. This pogo stick canine did a quick tour of the playground and then, just for fun, hopped up onto the agility platform in the middle of the park, where he paused for a few seconds and then, just for fun, raced over to the bright red bench where he hopped up, just for fun, and paused for a few more seconds while inviting the human to join him in a most wonderful delight of life game. Everyone in the bark park had a big grin on their face, canines and humans alike. The contagious energy of this amazing Blue Heeler captivated and enthralled all the playground participants. Even the world’s fastest moving blue snail bonded with Cowboy in a ride that would have impressed the best of his rodeo rider friends. During the session while the photographer was walking in the opposite direction, Cowboy literally “sailed” by chest high from the back side, contact free but just close enough for the human to experience the flyby breeze. This quiet, easy walk and treat canine, was never out of control with his graceful, fluid motions. Cowboy has not yet learned to sit on request…. or most likely, there is no reason to. Spend a few moments with Cowboy and your spirit will be uplifted and flying high.
