My Story

Hi, my name is Cricket and I can't wait to find a home! My first home was loud, crowded, and scary, I lived there for the first 5 years of my life. I came to my foster mom with matted fur and a fear of the world, but I've made great strides! Little kids still scare me and I'd rather find a home without kids. All I want to do is to love my person and be loved. My favorite part of the day is when my foster mom gets home! I do my happy dance and ask for love, then we get to sit on the back porch and snuggle. When I'm really happy, I'll show you my special smile with all my teeth, my foster mom says it's very cute. I am a whopping 10 pounds now!! And I LOVE food. Ever heard of the cheese tax? I don't mind other animals, my foster sister is a 72 pound lab mix, and my other foster sister is a cat. I like them because they give me my space. I'm still getting used to the world and I hope to find a home that is patient with me. I'm scared of men and children, and I'm still learning the whole "potty training" thing. I'm nervous at the start, but after I warm up to you, you'll see my fun and goofy side.
