CROCKETT*

Davy Crockett was known as the King of the Wild Frontier, but the only thing our Crockett wants to be king of the castle! Your castle to be precise! All dogs deserve to find loving homes, and Crockett is no exception- hes a special dog who has bounced around throughout his life and truly deserves to have a forever home and a loving family of his own. Crockett adores all humans and is a silly, energetic guy who has the softest fur and appreciates nothing more than a good belly rub and a cuddle. Hes also incredibly smart- heres what some of his friends have said: Crockett is a phenomenal dog and has been nothing but an impressive gentleman to everyone he meets. Hes been hanging out in an office at the shelter- he does well sharing his space and is perfectly content being by himself in the office or hanging out with his favorite humans. He loves tennis balls and toys (but should not be left unsupervised with them). He also showed us a few tricks he knows, including SPEAK, SIT, DOWN, ROLL OVER, WAIT and COME HERE. He is currently learning SPIN and SHAKE and has high marks for his training so far! Crockett loves chasing bubbles in the office, and appreciates any butt scratches he can get. He walks well on leash, and even stayed focused on me as we passed by the cats and another dog (while I had a treat and asked him to sit). Crockett is a very sweet, independent boy. He has been at PACC for many many months now and has held it together so well! He has always been calm and did well with the dogs he lived with previously. Crockett is a very sweet boy. He did very well on his walk this morning. He knows sit and takes treats gently. I adore Crockett. Seeing him every time I go to PACC is truly a highlight of my day. Hes handsome, sweet, curious, cuddly, and just a fantastic dog. He has a giant dog bed where he can usually be found lounging, and I love to snuggle up with him for a bit. He is so happy to have a bit of attention and human companionship. Whoever makes him a part of their family will be incredibly lucky!! Crockett lived with multiple other dogs previously and would like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure its a good fit. Ask to meet Crockett today!!
