Cyrus

Senior Cyrus is looking for a forever home. I have been fostering precious Cyrus for a little more than a month. The shelter notes say 13 years found as a stray. I wish I knew his past and am hoping it was a happy situation until he was found. He is the best mellow boy. He does have issues with his gait. Probably arthritis. He is on joint meds. He is potty trained, uses the dog door at times. When we are gone for more than 3 hours he may urinate in the house. He has only pooped once in the house. When we are home he can hold his urine for quite a long time. He lays around quite a bit but then he will get a burst of energy and he will walk quite fast on his terms lol. He gets along with my other 3 pitbulls, 2 females and 1 male. He loves people and kids and loves to give kisses. He has been around my sisters chihuahua and he doesn’t seem to mind her. Don’t know about cats. But I am sure if he didn’t, he couldn’t catch them if he wanted anyway. When we leave we will watch the camera and he will howl. Cutest ever. My husband is retired so he is not home alone too much. Since he has been with us he has started to use his inside voice lol. He now like my other dogs that have taught him well to bark at absolutely nothing lol. And at dinner time he knows to come to the table and beg like the other dogs. He is fitting right in. When I come home he comes to greet me with all the gang. He knows his role and does it quite well. I was telling my daughter that for the foster that are older I would like to take them out. She was so kind and purchased me one that accommodates him (and now my Lokie has some joint issues so he is using it also.) Cyrus loves going for walks in the stroller. I just want him to be happy for however long he has and to be loved like he deserves. I certainly love this precious boy.
