Dahlia

Dahlia is a 13-ish-weeks-old chihuahua mix who loves to play with her toys and her humans (young and old). She has bouts of playful energy and then loves curling up on a dog bed or cuddling with her furry foster brother for a nap. She's doing an excellent job at consistently pottying outside and has had very few accidents. She is fully crate-trained and happily enters her crate when asked to with a treat and even without. She sleeps through the night and lets us brew a pot of coffee before taking her out to potty. She loves taking walks but doesn't yet love her harness and needs coaxing with snuggles and treats to let her foster fam put it on her. Once it's on, she's happy to prance throughout the neighborhood! She still excitedly pulls and is working on staying beside them calmly on walks. Dahlia would be happiest in a home with another dog buddy and/or kids to play with. She is trying hard to make friends with the cats in her foster home, but the cats haven't decided yet and prefer to observe Dahlia rather than play with her.
