Dahlia (aka Mila) is guessed to be a 1 yr old Cattle dog mix around 46 lbs. She is loyal, sweet and eager to please her humans. She walks really well on a lead in a heel position, looking for direction. Mila is dog and kid friendly. We have not yet tested her with cats, but we believe she would be good with a dog savvy cat.
We believe shes a Cattle Dog or German Shorthair Pointer mix, so shes a working dog and pretty active, so will require physical and mental enrichment.
She came to Colorado from Oklahoma and is quickly gaining confidence. Shes very smart and already learned a number of commands, including sit, down, paw, and come! She is mostly housebroken but was recently spayed and has had a couple of accidents.
There is plenty of life now to flourish and feel love for this sweet girl, who was apparently kept outside her entire life and then left in a backyard when her owner moved. If you have a comfy couch and an empty lap to share, Mila would love to meet you! She is fully vetted and healthy and ready to go home ASAP! She is waiting in Aurora.
