Dakota is a sweet, but very scared pup who has only lived in one home & would be considered undersocialized as she's afraid of strangers & hasn't lived with children. Her former owner did believe that Dakota would do wonderful with kids & we would agree.
Dakota was surrendered due to financial issues & their inability to house her with the right fence (just like all huskies, she can be an escape artist & needs a fence over 6' tall). We believe that a well-behaved dog of a similar size would be a wonderful companion for Dakota & teach how to socialize with dogs & people alike.
She's had some run-ins with feline friends in the past, so we're looking for a home with no cats or small dogs. If you have a big heart & a secure fence (HAHA!), this girl is for you!
