My Story

Dale is a magnificent adult male German Shepherd who was brought to the HSOV sometime during the day on July 29, 2024 and placed in one of the outdoor kennels near the front entrance of our shelter along with his companion (Tucker). Unfortunately the individual(s) who left them in our care did not provide any information about these beautiful boys, so we don't know if they were found as strays or were actually owner surrenders. Dale has a tan-and-black coat, a long fluffy tail, and a beautiful German Shepherd face with expressive brown eyes, a long slender muzzle, and large erect ears. This good-looking boy has a friendly, easygoing personality. Dale is the larger of the pair. He weighs 73 lbs and walks fairly well on a leash. Thanks to HSOV Volunteer Emma Dahlgren for accompanying Dale for outdoor photos on the afternoon of July 31, 2024. In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Dale (and Tucker) will be held for three days so that their family will have an opportunity to reclaim them with proof of ownership.
