A little note from Dara's Foster :)
I've been fostering Dara for the Douglas County shelter for several weeks while she nursed her litter of nine puppies. Now that they're weaned and starting to look for their forever homes, it's time for Dara to find hers. She's 1-2 years old, 55ish lbs, heart worm negative, fully vaccinated, microchipped and will be spayed. She's house and crate trained, good with dogs (big and small / male and female) and loves head scratches and belly rubs. I'm pretty sure there isn't a mean bone in her body. She didn't have a great start in life (she was an outside dog whose puppies were born under a shed), and I want to make sure the rest of her life is amazing. If you're interested in meeting Dara, please contact the shelter to arrange a meet and greet! :)We are open to the public Tuesday - Sunday (1PM - 5PM)! No Appointments required!
