Darcy

Darcy is a happy, laidback, 4-year old girl, a wonderful, loving and smart pup that responds well to treats and training according to her foster. She knows "sit" and "down" and is learning "paw/shake." She is crate- and house- trained and enjoys going on walks. Her foster called her a "lazy playmate" that loves to nap on the couch and get cuddles but also enjoys being outside. She can be a little shy with new people at first but is very sweet and adored the toddler in the home. (Can we say she's probably "patient.") Darcy was not reactive to other animals on walks and had some positive interactions with other pups at the shelter (but not so much in her foster home), so a meet and greet with resident pets is highly recommended. This beautiful girl wants nothing more than to be next to her person and get tummy scritches. If you're looking for a medium energy companion, come meet her. She's highly recommended: "a joy to be around" and "couldn't ask for a better pup." The Williamson County Regional Animal Shelter is open every day from noon until 6pm (excluding limited holidays/events).
