Darla entered animal control as a stray. This poor girl came in weighing only 37 pounds!! She was approximately 25 or more pounds underweight upon her arrival. Darla is approximately 4 years old. Given the obvious lack of care, we were not surprised when this beautiful girl tested positive for heartworms. On a positive note, Darla is gaining some much needed weight and she does have a $50 sponsorship to help pay on the cost of heartworm treatment if adopted or rescued. Darla is good with other dogs. Our adoption fees for dogs include spaying/neutering, microchipping, vaccinations, and heartworm testing. All procedures are completed prior to a dog going into their new adoptive home.
