Surrendered into rescue in Texas, Darwin is a friendly and affectionate little fluff ball who loves people of all ages. While he enjoys the company of other dogs, he prefers to have all the human attention to himself. Darwin is leash trained, crate trained, and does well in a car. He loves toys, playing, and receiving affection. A typical diva Pomeranian, Darwin is an absolute cuddle bug and will follow you everywhere. He's intelligent, playful, and an escape artist with a stubborn and persistent streak. Darwin loves to use his voice, especially when someone knocks on the door or when he's excited. In his Texas foster home he can be a bit of a pest to other dogs by biting at their heels so he will need consistent training and patience. Despite his small size, Darwin has the personality of a much larger dog. If you're looking for an adorable, funny, and quirky companion who loves attention and cuddles, Darwin is the perfect pup for you. With a bit of training and a lot of love, Darwin will make a wonderful addition to any home. Darwin is from Texas. They arrive in Minnesota on 8/10/2024 and will need to be picked up from the Ruff Start Rescue office in Princeton, MN between the hours of 5pm and 9pm. Please plan for their arrival accordingly as we cannot accommodate pickups outside of this time frame. Once they get to Minnesota, they might require further veterinary care. Ruff Start's veterinary suite is located in Princeton, MN, and, as the foster, you will be required to transport your dog to and from these vetting appointments.
