Dash

Dash is a one year old, male Shepherd mix. He is mostly black, but his white chest and paws have black spots like a Heeler's coloring. He is initially a little shy when in his cage, but overall he is a super sweet and lovable dog. He walks well on a leash (after initial energy out of his cage), and he has such an endearing way of looking up at you with hopeful adoring eyes. Plus, Dash gets the biggest happiest smile when he gets into the shelter's park! He has a cute way of collecting some of his favorite toys that he finds, and putting them Into a neat pile. Dash seems ok with other dogs that he meets while walking, and he also came in to the shelter with another dog who was recently adopted. Still, a meet-n-greet is always recommended if other dogs live in the home. Dash is such a lovable boy if you bring him home, he will reward you with a lifetime of love! The adoption fee covers the following: spay or neuter surgery; one-year rabies vaccine; feline or canine distemper vaccine; heartworm test (dogs) or combo (fiv/felv) test (cats); deworming; and microchip. The Carroll County Animal Shelter will be closed the last Friday of every month for deep cleaning, staff training, and animal enrichment.
