David is a male Greyhound mix who is looking for a new home. He came to the shelter as a stray so we do not have any information on his past. He is not very tolerant of other dogs so he does need to be the only dog in the household. David is working on learning how to walk on a leash and he is not house-trained at this time. David is a high energy dog, so he will need someone who also has this type of household. ***Our adoption process is done in two steps . Your first trip to the shelter will include visiting with the animal and if you choose to do an adoption, all the paperwork will be completed at this time and the adoption will be paid for. The second trip will be to pick the animal up once it is spayed or neutered, micro chipped etc and ready to go home. All of our animals are spayed/neutered BEFORE they leave the shelter. Because of our strict return policy if an adopter cannot keep an adopted pet, adoptions to homes more than 100 miles away will be considered on a case by case basis.
