Looking for a sweet, playful boy with the happiest smile? Look no further than Davis! Davis is a 5-month-old Labrador retriever mix with a tan coat. He also has really great ears!! The pictures do not do them justice! Davis currently weighs 37 lbs., but he still has some growing to do and is likely to be a large pup (50 - 100 lbs.) when fully grown.Davis was rescued by our shelter partner in Mississippi after they got a call from a local vet clinic, who told the shelter that one of their clients could not take care of Davis anymore. Davis is a great, loving, playful pup. He gets along well with other dogs, cats and kids! As a medium-energy pup, Davis is sure to enjoy outdoor adventures and cozy couch cuddles. As a young pup, Davis will do best with short walks until about one year of age when the growth plate closes. At that point in time, Davis can be taken for long walks or hikes, and can even be your running partner.Davis is working hard on his crate, leash, and house training, which are all in progress. As with all puppies, Davis is full of curiosity and is ready to learn. With the right guidance and training, you will see him grow from adorable puppy to amazing dog.
