Dawson is an almost one year old Spaniel mix who weighs about 12lbs. He is friendly and outgoing without being over the top energetic. He likes people and would get along with just about any age of person. He is an option for kids. He is also an option to go to a home with another dog or with a cat who is dog savvy and doesn't run. If a cat is scared or inclined to run, then Dawson may take chase because he thinks it's a game. In his foster home where his 2 cats are very dog savvy and don't run at all, he's perfectly content to co-exist.
Dawson has a low-shedding coat. He is an option for someone who doesn't want to do a lot of grooming but still wants a lower shedding option. He won't require regular grooming but he also won't be shedding out like crazy all over the house. Dawson likes to play with toys and will gladly scoop them all up and sleep on them to lay claim to them! So get out your baskets of toys for this boy!
