Breed: Hound- sleek cream coat with subtle tan highlights HISTORY: Dax was found as a stray in a neighboring county and we opened our doors to help him. How do you spell cute?? Well, we spell it D-A-X! Folks, Dax is more than cute. He’s adorable, irresistible, cuddly, kissy, friendly and ready to frolic! This dynamite little guy is loaded with personality plus and plenty of tail wags and full bodied hugs. Found as a very shy, depleted stray, it did not take long to bring out his full pet shine and his silly puppy antics and can-do attitude. He has been doing excellent in working with our on site trainer Wen and she reports he’s already learned “sit” and “down,” is close to mastering “touch” and makes great eye contact. Her big observation on Dax is that he’s very, very smart and very tuned into his person. During photo time, Dax trotted around exploring our play yard and then engaged in a brain teasing game of “find the treat” in a special wooden box. Dax had his first wading into our kiddie pool and did great! In addition, he’s wonderful on the leash and a skilled tug of war participant. Most of all, Dax enjoys loving on and receiving attention from his human. The sky is the limit on our little man and we can’t wait to meet the lucky family that gets to bring him home.
