My Story

DEANNA Deanna is a beautiful cropped & docked red female about 2-3 years old. She was left at a shelter with her brother, Jasper. Deanna loves to play with her foster sisters and shows no signs of aggression with food or toys. Deanna was very shy when she first came to her foster family, but now she will come to them asking for attention, and if we don't respond right away, she will nudge us with her nose to get what she wants. Deanna has learned the basic commands and comes when called. She has earned her freedom and is now allowed access to all area's of the house. She is becoming a great protector and lets us know when she hears or sees something that is out of the ordinary. Deanna is learning that it is fun and rewarding to be part of a loving family. She has been to the dog park several times and is making friends with the other dogs and their owners. She really enjoys the freedom and the chance to explore the new surroundings. With the right forever home, Deanna will thrive and be a wonderful, devoted companion. Deanna's ideal home will include a fenced yard for her to run and play, and if she has a companion to do that with, it will be a bonus. She also needs a loving, compassionate and patient family that will continue to let her grow and flourish and teach her that hands were meant for love and praise, not punishment. Deanna is crate trained and housebroken. For additional information, please contact her foster mom Lisa Delcase at [email protected] or call 630-969-3174. Only pre-approved applicants will be considered.
