Dee Jay and his sister landed at a local shelter at just a year old. When their "family" didn't reclaim them, Dee Jay's sister was adopted by a member of the public. Sadly Dee Jay was left behind for some unexplained reason. At the shelter Dee Jay quickly became a volunteer favorite and the "dog greeter" for the new scare dogs entering the shelter system. But like all dogs in the shelter, even Dee Jay overstayed his time there and became "at risk" for euthanasia solely due to the shelter's space needs. When we heard about Dee Jay we knew we had to act. Dee Jay is now safe with us and ready to find a real family this time around. Dee Jay is a sweet 1 year old 70 pound lab husky mix who loves people and dogs alike and just wants to be everyone's friend. Dee Jay is looking for a family that is committed to training and socialization to help him grow into the best dog possible.
