Destiny: Carolina-Shepherd-Hound Pooch/ female/ 8 months. Hi Folks, My name is Destiny, and I think I am a Carolina-Shepherd-Hound Pooch; a female. I'm only 8 months old, but have been through a lifetime of sadness and abuse. When I was rescued by a kind woman in Los Angeles, I was so frightened of people, but I realized that not everyone would be mean to me. I was so skinny, starving, and dehydrated that I could hardly stand, and each of my ribs could be counted.. but this nice lady fed me and gave me a nice warm bed to sleep in. I hear that I will be spayed soon, and haven't the foggiest idea of what this is about, but I hear it is a good thing...and will have had my shots too; ouch. I realized so soon that I could play;and I love balls and chew toys; never did that before. Hey, I am still a puppy, and that's what puppies are supposed to do. I love to be loved and give love back now,and adore getting my ears scratched... It seems everywhere I go folks just take to me. I'm very calm, and folks say I am gorgeous. Loud noises do still scare me...but maybe in time I will get over that too. And best of all, I am potty trained, well not really a potty, but I do let you know when I need to go out...because I am smart. NOW, my only problem is that my foster mom cannot keep me. You see she is a very busy young woman and needs to find me just the right home. I have never been around children, so I do not know how I will react, but I do love other dogs... Is there anyone out there who would just love a sweet, calm, lovable, beautiful pooch to call their own? I promise to always be a good girl and never give you any trouble.
