Meet Dexter - This handsome boy was recently surrendered to the shelter due to housing issues. His previous family felt like he needed more room than their current apartment offered. They said that Dexter is an extremely loving and affectionate boy who would love nothing more than a little space to run around and play in. Dexter's foster family says he is a 10 out of 10, an all-around great boy. He is a super sweet boy who loves his people. He can be a little tentative around men, but given a little time and space, he warms up quickly! Dexter is one smart cookie and picks up on commands quickly. He has already learned place, kennel, free, and waits to eat until given his command.He is also house, crate, and muzzle-trained. Dexter is currently living with cats, but everyone keeps to themselves. Dexter cannot wait to find his new home and he'll be sure to offer up lots of kisses to show his appreciation. Dexter loves his foster sibling and would be happy to have another four-legged companion to hang out with! He would love to meet any potential canine siblings before heading home to ensure that it is a great match. Dexter is currently living in a foster home.
