Dexter hasn't even hit the adoption floor yet, and he is already stealing volunteers' hearts. This boy came in covered in tar. It's melted all over his head and neck. Our kiddie pool baths haven't helped, so we are going to have to call in backup. Despite whatever he was living through before he came to us at the shelter, he is as happy as can be. He is also incredibly trusting of whoever is walking him, constantly looking back to make sure he's being a good boy.
Dexter is approximately a year old.
