My Story

Diego came to us from Mexico. He was found tied up on a wall trying to escape a yard full of feces and algae water without food or water. His collar cut his neck severely while we was trying to escape but he is healing and doing well. We are taking applications now but he won't be fully available for adoption until his wounds healed and he is medically cleared. He arrived on 7/29 so he is still settling in. What we know so far: - He's good with other dogs but he is a little protective of his things and food still. You must be willing to utilize a crate if there are other pets in the home - Crate trained! Has never been in a crate prior to coming to the US and instantly loved it. He is quiet and not destructive when left alone in the crate. - Loves to go for walks. He's active and young so loves to run and play as much as you'll let him - He's pretty good on leash but is prey driven and learning that we don't get to say hi to everyone and everything - Loves his toys, and loves to chew - Big time snuggle bug. His neck is sensitive still as he still has wounds but he loves attention and scratches - He will chat to you in the mornings with big stretches and awoos Comes with 2 free dog training sessions
