Dior

Dior is a very active dog who loves to be outside…he especially loves the pool, and Frisbees to chase and catch! If only he didn’t have to swim and play at the shelter. He’s not the biggest fan of being here, and when he’s in his kennel, he is very anxious. When he’s outside he is more relaxed, but is still fairly unsure about everything. Though he doesn’t seem to know any basic commands, he is very toy motivated, so you’ve got that in your favour when working with him! This is not the dog you get when your kids are saying “let’s get a dog, dad!” Dior needs someone experienced who can handle his energy, give him daily walks, and lots of outdoor time. When Dior finds his person he becomes a big cuddly boy. He will follow you around and always make sure you are okay and have company. Given time and a proper and controlled introduction, we feel he could do well with other dogs, but cats are a no-go.
