Sweet & pretty DIOR is as fancy as her name! Dior is 3 years old and weighs a perfect 44lbs. She previously lived with 3 children but was surrendered by her original family for financial reasons - poor Dior was emaciated and very sick when she arrived at the shelter! She needed emergency surgery for an intestinal blockage, which thankfully went well. But being at an overcrowded shelter and not feeling well gave Dior a euthanasia command. Luckily, a loving foster opened up their home to Dior. Now Dior is living her true life, gaining some much needed weight, and well-deserved snuggles! Her foster writes: "Dior is the sweetest pup, full of love and affection. Despite common stereotypes about pit bulls, Dior has shown me just how unfounded those are. I've never met a dog as sweet as her. She just wants to be loved and play. Sometimes Dior needs a few minutes to warm up when meeting new people, especially men but once she knows she can trust you her demeanor is gentle; she’s not aggressive at all. She didn’t even bark when our landscaper came into the yard—she just watched, probably out of curiosity or perhaps a bit of fear. And she loves food! Dior would thrive in a home with some structure and a routine. She also loves to be outside, running and playing in the grass. If I had a bigger place and didn't travel as much, I would adopt her in a heartbeat."
