Dixie is a sweet australian shepherd mix . She is a real doll and will make someone a nice companion. Dixie is about 4 years old so no worries about having to go through the crazy puppy stage. She is also crate trained, walks well on leash and is most likely housebroken(although we never guarantee this).Dixie rides well in the car and will even load up on her own! So if someone out there is looking for a traveling companion...Dixie would be an excellent choice! She is a highly intelligent girl who would do well in a home with stimulating play time or who has a job to offer her. Dixie was surrendered by her owner. Dixie does well with children and other dogs but no cats-she will chase them. Because of her breed type, her herding instincts kick in-she also will need an active family or someone who can keep her from becoming bored. If you need a jogging buddy or are in need of a dog to help work the farm, then this breed would be perfect for you. Dixie has been spayed, is UTD with her vacc, tested negative for heartworms and has been examined by a vet. She is microchipped and is in need of a nice new home.
