My Story

Dixie Lee is a sweet, sweet, wonderful dog that was found near Richway Landscape on Chaney St. here in Collierville. Shortly after coming to the shelter she gave birth to three puppies, only one of whom survived. Lulu is Dixie Lee's only surviving puppy. Although we don't know who "Daddy" was, we do know that he was VERY small compared to Dixie Lee because of Lulu's extra small size.

One would never guess that this lady is 6-7 years old . . . she plays like a puppy! The really good part of her age is that she is settled, her disposition is obvious. Well behaved and housebroken she is ready to be a perfect family dog, a dog for a young adult starting out in life, or even a dog for an older couple. Dixie Lee is ready to love and adore you, bringing you years of companionship, and building memories for a lifetime. Dixie Lee could be the perfect dog for you . . . all you have to do is come visit her at the shelter and give her a chance to melt your heart!

Adoption Fee: $85 which includes microchipping, spay/neuter, heartworm test, flea/tick and heartworm preventative, age appropriate vaccinations, worming. Cash or check only -- we do not take debit or credit cards. Staff and volunteers socialize and work with the dogs on a daily basis. Most are leash trained and kennel trained upon adoption. We have really great dogs just waiting to be your new best friend!

**We reserve the right to refuse adoption for any reason. Our first concern is the happiness and welfare of the animal. We do what is in the best interest of the animals. **
