Not Tested Good with kids? Not Tested. Doc has a calm, gentle demeanor around everyone he meets. Energy level: High! Doc would love a home where he can get plenty of exercise, long walks and fun hikes! He also loves lakes, creeks, streams and baths, so he’ll smell fresh and be soft and cuddly when it’s snuggle time. Medical/Behavioral needs: Doc is interested in and may chase small animals like squirrels, bunnies and birds, but he has gone camping and shown off leash recall on trails and at the campsite. He has canine lupus which just means that his joints sometimes get a bit achey. He takes a daily pill hidden in yummy cheese to help keep him limber. He’s the happiest pup on the block! Animal Characteristics: Doc is the sweetest, happiest Colorado dog, up for any adventure! He’s an excellent listener and will loyally follow you around the house to make sure you are safe and not lonely when you’re in the shower! He knows lots of tricks and wil play fetch (which is the only time he barks with joy) and offer you his cute paw when he wants pets and treats. He knows what the dog park means and will get so excited when it’s playtime with doggie friends. He is also super cuddly with humans!
