My Story

Meet Dodger!! (case #07-22-201-02) The Energetic Guardian in Search of a Loving Home! Are you ready for a new adventure with a loyal, energetic companion? Then meet Dodger, a delightful Anatolian Shepherd mix who’s looking for his forever home! About Dodger: Age: Approximately 1-3 years old Breed: Anatolian Shepherd X Size: Large and in charge! Dodger is a powerful and sturdy boy, typical of his breed. Ideal Home: Dodger is best suited to homes with large yards or rural settings where he has room to roam and explore. As an Anatolian Shepherd mix, he thrives in environments where he can stretch his legs and engage in outdoor activities. He’s looking for a home where he can be the guardian and friend he was born to be. What You Should Know: Strength and Energy: Dodger is a strong and lively dog who can pull hard on the leash and bounce with excitement. He’ll need a strong, confident handler to help him learn the ropes and channel his energy in positive ways. Training: Obedience classes are a must for Dodger. These will help him learn basic commands and give you both the chance to bond. While he’s a playful boy who doesn’t always realize his own size, he’s eager to please and learn. Exercise Needs: Dodger requires at least two hours of physical activity each day. He enjoys hikes, outdoor adventures, and activities that challenge his mind, like puzzle toys and agility exercises. His ideal home will offer plenty of opportunities for exercise and mental stimulation. Socialization: Dodger gets along well with other dogs, especially those with similar energy levels and temperaments. He may need careful introductions and supervision around small animals or cats, but he has shown no aggression towards them so far. Why You’ll Love Dodger: Dodger is a friendly and affectionate boy who seems to like everyone he meets. His loyal and protective nature makes him an excellent family companion for those who can match his energy and provide him with the space he needs. If you’re looking for a devoted dog who loves the great outdoors and is ready to be a part of your family adventures, Dodger might just be the perfect match!
