Hello there, I'm Dolly. I’ve never had a real home before, but I'm learning so much about the world outside of a cage in my foster home. I'm a sweet & affectionate soul & will wag my nubby little tail so quickly when you talk sweet to me. I can be a little timid of loud noises, but I am adjusting really well after my start to life with a not so nice breeder. i finally get to feel grass under my paws, the softness of a blanket, the cool comfort of AC and the caress of nice humans, and I love it all! I have been good with other dogs & kids, and just want a place where I can feel safe & continue to explore at my own pace. I need someone patient while I continue to learn & who can show me what it means to be loved. I promise, in return, I'll be the best friend you could ever ask for. If you want to meet a pup in person, Once Upon a Tail Rescue does adoption events at PetSmart in Covington, LA on most Saturdays with many of our adoptable dogs there. Don't forget to complete your application ahead of time, so you don't miss out on the pup you've connected with. If pre-approved, you have first priority & can usually take home your new best friend the same day! *Please note that there is no obligation to adopt by completing an application.* **All dogs are required to have complete vet services, including shots, rabies, spay/neuter and microchip, which are included in the Adoption Fee. Some dogs may still require completion of these services due to current age, size, breed and/or health. All vet services must be done at the vet clinic used by Once Upon a Tail Rescue.
