Description:
Hello,
My name is Domi. I am your dream dog if you are willing to love a big guy like me. I am curious about everything in the house. When I say curious, I mean I like to sniff everything. When my foster mom is cooking, I want to know everything she is doing. My nose is an indicator of something yummy. I am very, very gentle when taking a treat. If you tell me to kennel, I can open my kennel myself and just sit and wait. My foster mom thinks its cute!
I live with another doggie named Twelve. She is small little dog and we get along great! She always has to clean my face every day. I just sit there and let her groom me. We play often, but when she is done she let's me know and I walk away. I've also lived with doggo friends Tex, Jaco and Chondelle. They were all foster dogs like me. I played with all of them, but Tex was the best! He was bigger than me and we were best buddies! I am housebroken, crate trained, I know how to sit and the latest trick I learned is to shake my paw. I am a larger dog, so I do require a harness or pinch collar on walks. I am so curious about everything I just cannot wait to see it all.
The best part of my life is my human. I just want to be around humans. I just love them. I am your man for loving humans along with dogs. It doesn't matter the age. I adapt to whom ever.
My foster mom is making me tell you that I do not like vacuums, lawn mowers and several items I am not sure what they are but I don't like them.
I have great recall. I love going in the car and hanging my head out the window. My foster mom always laughs as my jowls are always flopping in the wind.
As my foster mom says, I am unique, one-of-a-kind but I hope I'm the kind for you! I'm perfect for someone who loves a quirky dog and is willing to take me to training classes. There I'd show off the class how smart I am!
We look forward to meeting you soon! As my foster mom says.. trust me.. we will find the perfect home! Could it be yours???
Adoption Fee: $350.00
We are a Wisconsin state licensed dog rescue -WI# 402433
***We do not have a central adoption center at this time. All our dogs are in private foster homes within WI. At this time we only place our dogs in areas of WI. The breed of our dogs is our best guess with the help of our veterinarians.
Our Weight Classes are as follows:
0- 25lbs - Small
26- 45lbs - Medium
46-89 - Large
90+ X-large
If you are adopting an adult dog, which we consider 6 months of age or older, your adoption fee includes the following:
Spay/Neuter, Rabies and Distemper shots, dewormed, flea & tick preventative, heartworm tested and microchipped.
If you are adopting a dog younger than 6 months of age, the dog will be up to date on the shots as per the dogs age. The dog will be dewormed, flea/tick preventative and microchipped. We only spay/neuter our dogs by 6 months of age. If you decide to adopt a younger dog than 6 months of age, they will need to be spayed/neutered at one of our preferred clinics. This will be determined by your contract along with the month they should have their surgery. This is included in your adoption fee.
Once you are approved with our rescue, you can meet any one of our dogs within the fosters home. If you are interested in the dog you met, you can take the dog home under our mandatory foster to adopt program. You receive 5 days to see if the dog is the right fit for your home.
If it is, we will conduct the home visit and finalize adoption. If it is not, it is returned to the foster. We are happy to find you another dog that meets your needs in your home.
If a dog is listed as PENDING, a family has met the dog and planning on adopting the dog after the home visit has been conducted. We always suggest sending in an application for a dog because there are times where the dogs are given back to us under the foster to adopt program. There are many reasons dogs are returned but normally it just was not the right fit for all. Please go to WWW.TAILWAGGERS911.COM under HOW TO ADOPT . We have an online application that is very easy to fill out.
